About Us
Ranch Gear LLC was designed and developed by outdoorsmen for individuals in the hunting and fishing industry to sell their merchandise online. The concept was created in early 2009 by web developer David Gray and hunting ranch owner Jimmy Perlitz of the Perlitz Ranch.
Jimmy would constantly receive calls from clients requesting additional shirts, hats, pullovers etc. This would consist of taking & writing down the order, waiting for the check to come in the mail, pack the items, take them to the post office and wait in long post office lines to send the items on their way. David and Jimmy then realized that most hunting ranches and fishing charters had the same problem. They had their own website, but had no time or way to market themselves and sell merchandise efficiently over the internet.
After long discussions, the two came up with Ranch Gear LLC that handles the product from start to finish. From the design and production of the product, to the warehousing, marketing, selling, billing and the distribution, Ranch Gear handles it all. The ranch owner or charter company do not have to take time out of their busy day to complete these tedious procedures.
